SATURDAY, OCTOBER 30, 2011.
We woke up bright and early to get the whole day to tour milan and shop.
Our method of transportation was Sub-way. the subway system was very simple to understand, fast and cheap.
We went to the Scale the Duomo, a famous cathedral. pictures were not allowed inside but I can guarantee you it was gorgeous.
Then we saw the Commercial Bank of Italy
Then we went to the Teatro Alla Scala. It is a world renowned opera house in Milan. The theatre was inaugurated on 3 August 1778 and was originally known as the New Royal-Ducal Theatre at La Scala. The 1st performance was Antonio Salieri's Europa riconosciuta.
They had many sub museums:
1. Museum of ancient art
2. Picture Gallery
3. Egyptian Museum
4. Museum of Prehistory and proto history
5. Museum of Decorative Arts
6. Museum of Musical Instruments
7. Furniture Museum
8. Prints Collection
9. Photographic Archive
10. Archaeological and numismatic Library
11. Trivulziana library and city Historical Archive
12. Art Library

We almost missed our train .. burger king took way too long to give us our food so we had to run through the train station but guess our luck, burger king and our dock were on the opposite sides of the station. But we made it and that is whats important :) ... destination Surval (school).
We had to do some homework on the way back.
